CI Capital Partners hired ex-Riverside Co. executive Amy Margolis to lead business development.

Margolis updated her LinkedIn profile, which says she joined the firm this month. Margolis had worked at Riverside since 2006 sourcing investment opportunities.

Prior to Riverside, Margolis worked at Prudential Securities for 21 years, her profile says.

CI Capital closed its third fund on its $750 million hard cap for investments in middle-market companies in business services, distribution, healthcare services, government services and defense and light manufacturing.

Senior executives at CI Capital, including Frederick Iseman, contributed more than $100 million to Fund III, the firm said in a statement. The firm closed Fund II on $620 million in 2011 on a $500 million target.

Iseman and Steven Lefkowitz formed CI Capital as Caxton-Iseman Capital in 1993 to invest in private capital on behalf of New York hedge fund group Caxton Associates.

The New York firm managed about $2.4 billion as of Dec. 31, 2016, its Form ADV shows.
