Alternative Investment Management named Jason Klein to its chief investment officer advisory council. Klein is senior vice president and CIO of Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Allison Miller joined Arbor Investments as chief marketing officer. Miller was previously vice president of marketing for the Chicago Cubs.
Carlyle Group: Robert Mancini, a managing director, partner and co-head of Carlyle Power Partners, is retiring at June 30. Mancini, who joined the firm in 2012, is staying on until year-end as a senior adviser. He was previously a managing director at Goldman Sachs. Mancini, 60, raised two funds to invest in the North American power generation sector. Carlyle Group also hired Robby Winarta as managing director and Long Hoang as director of its Asian PE platform. Winarta will be based in Jakarta and Hoang in Singapore. Both will lead Carlyle’s investment activities in Indonesia.
Century Bridge Capital named Tully Wyatt CFO. Wyatt is a former manager in the transaction services group at KPMG.
Compass Partners hired James Kester to help lead business development in the U.S. Kester previously was chief investment officer of the private equity department at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
Cresset Partners: Scott Conners, Michael Carrano and Jason Neal joined to form the firm’s sponsor products team. The trio worked previously at Landmark Partners.
Diamond Hill Capital Management: Ric Dillon will retire as a portfolio manager. He will remain chairman of Diamond Hill Investment Group Inc. Dillon joined Diamond Hill as CEO in June 2000.
Digital Colony, an investment firm focused on digital infrastructure, named Steven Sonnenstein a managing director. Sonnenstein most recently was a senior director at Canadian pension investment manager PSP Investments.
KKR: John Pattar joined as a member and head of KKR’s real estate business in Asia-Pacific. Pattar was previously CEO of CLSA Real Estate at CLSA Capital Partners in Hong Kong.
Macquarie Capital named Robert Crowell managing director to lead healthcare services coverage in the Americas. Crowell previously was a managing director at UBS.
New State Capital Partners: Joining the firm are Kurt Lentz as principal; Erika Jung as vice president, operations/lean; Josh Skevington as vice president, CFO activities; and Shaun Vasavada as an associate.
NightDragon Security, a cybersecurity investment firm, named Ken Gonzalez a managing director. Gonzalez is a former managing director at ForgePoint Capital and previously was a senior executive at McAfee, Avast and FireEye.
Nueterra Capital named veteran healthcare attorney Scott C. Palecki as general counsel. The healthcare-focused private equity firm and adviser also appointed Alex Knudson legal project manager.
Silverfern Group, a middle-market investment management firm, named Torsten Köpke a managing director at the Frankfurt office. Köpke is the former head of investment consulting for Aon Consulting Germany.

Antuit Group, backed by Goldman Sachs and Zodius Capital, named Craig Silverman group CEO. Previously, Silverman was senior vice president of global services for Qlik. Antuit Group is the Oak Park, Illinois, global analytics provider.
Brook & Whittle, backed by Snow Phipps Group, named Mark Pollard CEO. Brook & Whittle provides prime labels for consumer and medical end markets.
Clinical Innovations: The EQT portfolio company named Michael Behling CFO. Behling previously served in CFO and chief accounting officer roles at Lasko Products, Light Wave Dental and Imaging Advantage.
Extreme Plastics Plus, a portfolio company of Blue Wolf Capital Partners, named Jay Minmier CEO. He had been president of Nomac Drilling. EPP is a U.S. environmental containment services company.
HDT Automotive Solutions, backed by Ardian, named Patrick Paige CEO. Paige previously was president and CEO at Acument Global Technologies. HDT Automotive is a Michigan provider of fluid-handling systems and precision aluminum parts.
HighRadius, the Houston provider of cloud-based integrated receivables software, named Sayid Shabeer chief product officer. Shabeer had been head of product at Vantiv. HighRadius is backed by Susquehanna Growth Equity.
Sports Information Group, backed by Z Capital, named Itay Fisher chief technology officer. Fisher previously was chief information officer at William Hill Online. SIG is the parent of the horse-racing publication Daily Racing Form.
Tierra Nueva Fine Cocoa, the Miami chocolate and coffee technology company, named David Burke CEO and Deryck van Rensburg and Neil Dorfman to the board. Burke previously was executive vice president of Red Diamond Coffee & Tea. Van Rensburg is dean of Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School and Dorfman is a 24-year veteran of Nestle. Tierra Nueva is backed by ProspEquity Partners.

Ansonia Partners, an investment banking partnership, named Al Statman senior adviser. Statman currently is a senior shareholder at Wright & Talisman.
Covington named Amy Wollensack and Sergio Urias co-chairs of the law firm’s private equity practice. Both were previously with Kirkland & Ellis.
FocusPoint Private Capital Group named Steve Curtis to the fundraising adviser’s project management team. Curtis previously worked at Lazard’s middle-market group.
Great Rock Capital named Gerard Hanabergh chief risk officer and Jennifer Cronin managing director of marketing and business development. Jim Hogan will become chief commercial officer.
Greenberg Traurig named private equity lawyer Brian R. Singer to the law firm’s corporate practice. Singer previously was an associate at Paul Hastings.
JMP Securities named Ezequiel Navar a managing director in its investment banking division. Navar had been a managing director and head of healthcare information technology and services at H2C Securities.
Lendix: Luuc Mannaerts was named CEO of Lendix Nederland. Mannaerts was previously CEO of ABN AMRO Commercial Finance, an ABN AMRO subsidiary.
McGuireWoods: Greg Hawver is joining the law firm’s private equity team. Hawver previously worked at Winston & Strawn.
Morrison & Foerster named Jay Blaivas a tax partner in the law firm’s New York office. He had worked at Blackstone Group.
Probitas Partners named four managing directors: Caryn Feinberg, Haakon Gresvig, Ray Tsao and John Caley. Feinberg and Tsao will be on the project management team while Gresvig will be on the relationship management (distribution) team. Caley will be working on direct real estate.
Raymond James has expanded its Asia-focused team with three new hires: Dennis Zhang as a managing director; Xinyin Zhang as vice president and Weidong Wang as an analyst.
PROMOTIONS
Genstar Capital promoted Geoff Miller to director and Rob Clark to principal. Miller first joined Genstar in 2008 as an associate and rejoined the firm in 2013. Clark came on board in 2015.
Intercontinental Exchange, an operator of global exchanges and clearing houses and provider of data and listings services, named Stacey Cunningham president and John Tuttle chief operating officer of NYSE Group.
Trive Capital, the Dallas private equity firm, promoted Blake Bonner to partner. Bonner’s duties include identifying and evaluating investment opportunities and doing transaction due diligence.
