Snowbridge co-founder John Crocker leaves firm

John Crocker, co-founder of Snowbridge Advisors, has left the New York-based placement and advisory firm, according to sources.

Formerly a managing partner at the firm, Crocker launched Snowbridge Advisors in 2013 with Mark Schroeder, managing partner, who remains there.

Other key members of the team now at Snowbridge Advisors include Tom Boyle, Karen Christofferson, Scott Gregory, Colleen Sellers, Mary Strother and Devin Bostick.

Before Snowbridge Advisors, Crocker worked from 2011-2013 as managing director, Alternative Investments/Private Markets for DB Private Equity, a unit of Deutsche Bank, where he focused on capital raising and strategy, according to his LinkedIn profile.

His prior experience includes time at Atlantic-Pacific Capital, Citigroup’s Alternatives Distribution Group and Capital Z Investment Partners.

During Crocker’s time at Snowbridge Advisors, the firm worked on funds in the $500 million to $1 billion range. Among its clients, the firm served as financial advisor with Clarus Ventures, a life sciences venture firm, on fundraising for the $500 million Clarus III fund, while Sagent Advisors served as placement agent.

Snowbridge offers securities through Sagent Advisors, a registered broker dealer.

Crocker did not answer an email to his LinkedIn account.
