Video: Andreessen discusses details of seed stage fund

Last week, Marc Andreessen visited the offices of PE Week to discuss his new fund, a $300 million seed stage vehicle that he and business partner Ben Horowitz intend to invest from over the next 10 years. Horowitz couldn’t make it to the interview because he was working on one of the first deals that the firm was close to making.

Five editors and reporters from Thomson Reuters met with Andreessen for over an hour. During that time, Andreessen, co-founder of Internet browser developer Netscape Communications Corp., talked about details of the fund, who are his favorite VCs and his views on the industry.

PE Week has the full story located here: Marc Andreessen.

And here’s a video clip from our interview that I posted on YouTube.

Let me know what you think of his new fund.
