Cabrera-Kabana Joins CoBe

CoBe Capital has hired Jose Cabrera-Kabana as an MD, Europe. Cabrera-Kabana will lead CoBe Capital’s M&A activities in Spain and Portugal. Previously, Cabrera-Kabana was a Managing Director with goetzpartners Corporate Finance.

Madrid, Spain – CoBe Capital, a global private investment firm focused on the acquisition and management of non-core business units from large corporations, is pleased to announce the hiring of Jose Cabrera-Kabana. Mr. Cabrera-Kabana joins CoBe Capital as Managing Director, Europe, and leads CoBe Capital’s M&A activities in Spain and Portugal.  He has over 24 years of professional experience in principal investing, corporate M&A advisory, structured finance and strategy consulting.
Previously, Mr. Cabrera-Kabana was a Managing Director with goetzpartners Corporate Finance, a pan-European M&A advisory and management consulting firm, where he completed numerous transactions in Iberia.  Before joining goetzpartners, he learned the investment banking ropes at Lazard in London, focusing on executing cross-border mergers and acquisitions.  Earlier in his career, he was an investor at Schroder Ventures and prior to that worked as a consultant in McKinsey & Company’s Madrid Office.
Mr. Cabrera-Kabana received his MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a BSc in Economics from MIT.
