PRESS RELEASE
Callisto Capital becomes Clearspring Capital Partners
Clearspring Capital Partners is the new name of Callisto Capital, effective January 1, 2016. The Toronto-based and Canadian-focused mid-market private equity firm will continue to do what it has always done: Help mid-sized Canadian companies grow and establish leading market positions in their industries.
“We wanted a name that reflects who we are,” said Joe Shlesinger, Managing Director of Clearspring. “The Clearspring Capital Partners name connotes what we are, in terms of clarity of thought, freshness of approach, Canadian focused and a true partnership orientation. Callisto, a dead moon of Jupiter, was not easy to explain.”
