Campalyst has raised seed round of funding from Amsterdam-based venture capital firm HENQ. HENQ’s partner Coen van Duiven will be joining the Campalyst board. Social media management solution provider Campalyst launched last year with the idea to measure conversions from Facebook pages.
We are very excited to announce that Campalyst has raised the seed round of funding from Amsterdam-based venture capital firm HENQ. HENQ’s partner Coen van Duiven will be joining the Campalyst board, bringing a global brand perspective from his multi-year experience with Unilever.
A year ago, Campalyst started out with the idea to measure conversions from Facebook pages. Since then, it has developed into an enterprise-level social media management solution with the leading ROI measurement technology in the market. During this year, the market has changed significantly. Facebook introduced Sponsored Stories as the basis of social media advertising. Twitter is making Promoted Tweets products available to increasing numbers of advertisers. It is becoming obvious that paid, earned, and owned channels on social media will have to be closely integrated and measured in order to deliver effective marketing campaigns.
Therefore, we are very excited to respond to the increasingly complex needs of our customers and use the funding to develop the product further:
Following our clients’ requests we are integrating with Adobe Marketing Suite, which is used by some of the largest brands in the world.
We will continue our integration with Youtube, which is the third most popular social network and is widely used in social media advertising.
In addition, Campalyst will provide analytics for paid social advertising options – such as Facebook Ads and Sponsored Stories.
In fact, Campalyst’s integration with Facebook Ads is rolling out in private beta today – making Campalyst the first social media management and analytics company to cover both Facebook Ads and Facebook Pages!
Campalyst will continue to work with the most innovative brands and agencies to provide the technology for the rapidly changing social media marketing landscape. We would like to thank everyone who supported us during the year – including our clients, mentors, employees, Garage48, Startup Sauna, Seedcamp and now HENQ. We are very happy to have the support of HENQ in the journey towards measurable social media ROI – and are looking forward to the exciting developments we will soon be able to bring to the market!
