Marlin Equity Partners backs Vancouver’s Vivonet


U.S. private equity firm Marlin Equity Partners has acquired Vivonet, Inc., a Vancouver, British Columbia-based point of sale software and systems business for the restaurant industry. No financial terms were disclosed.  Prior to Marlin Equity’s acquisition, Vivonet was venture-backed.  Among the company’s Canadian investors since 2005 have been Discovery Capital Corp., Greenstone Venture Partners, Maxam Capital Corp. and Roynat Capital.

Marlin Equity Partners has acquired Vivonet, a Vancouver, Canada-based leader in point of sale software and systems for the restaurant industry. The company’s cloud-based solutions are designed for remote management of single and multi-location operations, complex workflows and order management and consumer interactions. Clients rely on Vivonet’s flagship product Halo™ as the backbone of their operations, including sales and loyalty management, sales analytics, enterprise management and employee timekeeping. No financial terms were disclosed.
