SalesRight, a Halifax-based software-as-a-service platform for business-to-business sales teams, has raised $250,000 in a pre-seed financing.
The round was led by Concrete Ventures, a Canadian venture capital firm focused on early-stage opportunities in the Atlantic region.
The investment is Concrete’s first, according to a report by Entrevestor.
Founded last year by CEO Bill Wilson, Head of Growth Taylor Bond and CFO Greg Toner, SalesRight helps sales teams enhance the buying experience through interactive and intelligent pricing.
SalesRight will use the funds raised for new hires.
SalesRight Secures $250K in funding from Concrete Ventures
HALIFAX, Nova Scotia – May 8, 2019 – PRLog — Halifax based SalesRight has raised $250K in a pre-seed round led by Concrete Ventures. SalesRight is a SaaS (software-as-a-service) cloud-based platform that helps B2B (business to business) sales teams to create custom, interactive pricing guides.
The idea of SalesRight was born at Bill Wilson’s prior venture, MindSea Development. He saw a problem with the way companies sold to their buyers and how sales teams were selling to him: there was a lack of transparency, an inefficient sales process, and a lot of unnecessary back and forth about features and pricing.
To solve this challenge, Wilson and his co-founders (Taylor Bond and Greg Toner) created SalesRight, an easy-to-use software built to streamline B2B SaaS pricing, give prospects more transparency, and provide powerful real-time analytics to allow businesses to save time and close more deals.
Patrick Hankinson, Partner at Concrete Ventures, said, “Pricing is one of the biggest levers that can boost the underlying economics of a business. Yet, executives often have little to no insights on how their pricing impacts their overall business. Nobody’s tackling this problem the way SalesRight is, and that’s where I see the opportunity. The new funding will allow SalesRight to expand its team in order to accelerate their growth and build on recent success. SalesRight’s earliest customers are B2B SaaS organizations across Canada and the United States.
