The Carlyle Group has named Annie Paydar as the London-based head of human resources for the European and MENA regions. She previously led HR activities for the firm’s New York office.

Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group today announced it has named Annie Paydar Head of Human Resources for the European and MENA regions. Ms. Paydar has worked in Human Resources at Carlyle for more than five years, previously leading HR activities in the New York office. She will now be based in London.
Carlyle’s Human Resources team develops and implements Carlyle’s HR strategy and initiatives on a global basis, including compensation programs, performance management, training and development, recruitment and retention, and organizational development.

Annie started with Carlyle in our Washington, D.C. headquarters and most recently successfully built out the HR function for our New York office. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2004, Ms. Paydar was part of the Human Resources team with The Blackstone Group in New York City. She earned her Bachelors degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of Utah.
