InstaMed, a healthcare payments network, has raised $50 million in funding. The backer was Carrick Capital Partners. Cowen and Company provided financial advice to InstaMed on the transaction. In conjunction with the funding, Jim Madden, co-founder and managing partner of Carrick Capital has been added InstaMed’s board of directors while Chris Wenner, a vice president at Carrick Capital, has become a board observer.
PHILADELPHIA, PA and NEWPORT BEACH, CA (September 26, 2016) – InstaMed, healthcare’s most trusted payments network, today announced a $50 million investment from Carrick Capital Partners, an investment firm jointly based in Newport Beach and San Francisco, CA that focuses on technology-enabled businesses including SaaS, BPO and Transaction Processing.
The investment will be used to drive the growth of the InstaMed Network, accelerate go-to-market strategy and drive further innovation in healthcare payments technology.
