Caspian Private Equity LLC announced late Thursday the final close of its latest fund. Caspian Private Equity II LP on Dec. 31 collected over $242 million from 85 different Limited Partners, exceeding its initial target of $200 million. CPE II will seek to make non-control investments in lower middle market opportunities. Caspian is an affiliate of Natixis Global Asset Management LP, an asset manager.
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Caspian Private Equity, LLC (“Caspian”) announced today that it has held the final closing of Caspian Private Equity II, LP, a Delaware limited partnership (“CPE II”) on December 31st, 2014, and reached aggregated commitments of over $242 million from 85 different Limited Partners, exceeding its initial target of $200 million.
CPE II has been established to make direct equity investments primarily in US-based private companies through investments typically made on a non-control basis. CPE II seeks to make opportunistic investments, diversified across investment stage and industry, with a focus on lower middle market opportunities.
