Catalyst Investors hires two analysts

Catalyst Investors said Wednesday that it has added two analysts, Courtney Nelson and David Sack. Nelson joins Catalyst from Greenhill & Co. where she was an investment banking analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York. Sack was most recently with New York-based Berenson & Company, where he served as an investment banking analyst on M&A and capital raise transactions.

NEW YORK, OCTOBER 21, 2015 – Growth equity firm Catalyst Investorsfurther expanded with the addition of two new analysts, Courtney Nelson and David Sack. Both analysts are responsible for deal origination, transaction execution, and portfolio management, as well as assisting with Catalyst’s research reports.

Nelson joins Catalyst from Greenhill & Co. where she was an investment banking analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York. While with Greenhill, she worked on transactions across various industries with an emphasis on consumer and retail. She received a B. Comm. degree from McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management, with a concentration in Finance and a double minor in History and French.

Sack was most recently with New York-based Berenson & Company, where he served as an investment banking analyst on M&A and capital raise transactions across several industries, with a focus on technology and media. He graduated from Yale University with a BA in Economics and Latin American Studies.
