Catalyst Mobile, an Emeryville, Calif.-based provider of mobile music and entertainment services, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. Sofinnova Ventures led the deal, and was joined by return backer DCM.
The company previously had raised around $4.5 million, and will use the capital to build out music distribution services, including the deployment of a joint service in Japan with Warner Music Group. www.catalystmobile.com
