CCMP Capital Advisors names new advisor

Middle-market buyout firm CCMP Capital Advisors has hired Nick Rose as an advisor. Previously, Rose was the chairman of Edwards Group.

NEW YORK and LONDON, April 11, 2014—CCMP Capital Advisors, LLC today announced that Nick Rose has agreed to become an advisor to the firm. Mr. Rose will work with CCMP as a consultant sourcing, evaluating and managing new industrial and consumer investment opportunities in Europe and North America.
Mr. Rose has more than 30 years of leadership and international experience growing consumer and industrial companies, most recently serving as Chairman of Edwards Group plc, a leading company specializing in the design and manufacturing of vacuum pumps, and former CCMP portfolio company. Prior to this, Mr. Rose spent 18 years at Diageo plc, the world’s leading premium drinks business, where he held multiple senior leadership positions, including CFO for almost 12 years.

Mr. Rose served as CFO of Diageo plc from 1999 to 2010. In this role, he was responsible for global supply, global procurement and group strategy. In March 2011, Mr. Rose was appointed Chairman of Edwards Group plc until he stepped down in 2014 after CCMP sold the company to a strategic buyer. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rose spent 11 years at Ford Finance, where he served various roles in a number of international assignments.
Mr. Rose currently serves as a Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at BAE Systems plc and BT plc. In addition, Mr. Rose joined GrandMet in 1992 and progressed through a number of roles to his current board position.
Along with his many other achievements, Mr. Rose is a founding patron of SITraN, The Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience. He also serves as a non-executive Chairman at Williams Grand Prix Holdings and previously held non-executive roles at Möet Hennessy SNC and Scottish Power plc. Mr. Rose earned his degree at the University of Oxford.
