Centerfield Capital Partners (“Centerfield”) is pleased to announce its investment in EMPI, Inc. (“EMPI”) . Headquartered in Anaheim, CA, EMPI is a manufacturer and distributor of branded automotive aftermarket parts for vintage Volkswagen vehicles, modern Volkswagen vehicles, and other vehicle brands. Centerfield supported the recapitalization of the company by Dubin Clark & Company, providing subordinated debt and an equity co-investment to finance the transaction.  

Founded in 1973, EMPI offers approximately 9,000 OEM replacement and general aftermarket SKUs, which include wheels, brakes, carburetor sets, exhaust systems, fuel intake systems, driveline products, and a variety of other products and accessories. EMPI sells products under three in-house brands, including EMPI, Bugpack and Race-Trim.
