Charlesbank Capital hires Fiyod as CFO

Charlesbank Capital Partners has named John Fiyod as chief financial officer. Previously, Fiyod worked at Berkshire Partners where he most recently served as vice president of finance.

Charlesbank Capital Partners announces the appointment of John Fiyod as its new Chief Financial Officer. John joins Charlesbank after spending nearly 10 years at Boston-based Berkshire Partners, where he served most recently as Vice President of Finance.

Prior to Berkshire, John worked in Audit and Assurance Services for the Investment Management Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. A licensed CPA, he earned a BS in Accounting from University of Rhode Island.

John will be responsible for planning and overseeing all finance-related activities, including accounting, tax, and both portfolio and financial reporting for Charlesbank. He joins an established operations team led by Tim Palmer, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer. “With his extensive private equity and financial experience, John is well-suited to take on the CFO role,” he said. “We believe in bringing the highest-caliber support to our daily activities, and a strong financial team is critical to our success as a firm.
