Chris Pietersen Joins First Reserve

Chris Pietersen has joined First Reserve Corp., an energy-focused private equity firm, as a vice president of investor relations and co-investments. He will work out of the firm’s London office, and previously was with placement agent C.P. Eaton.

Christopher J. Pietersen, Vice President, Investor Relations & Co-Investment, joined First Reserve in 2010. He is involved in the firm’s co-investment, fund raising and investor relations activities. Prior to joining First Reserve, he was a Senior Vice President at C.P. Eaton Partners LLC where he worked with general partners in the placement of funds with institutional investors. Previously he was an Associate Director in the Private Funds Group at UBS where he was responsible for private equity and infrastructure fundraising. Prior to UBS, Mr. Pietersen worked for General Atlantic where he executed principal transactions. Mr. Pietersen holds a B.A. in Political Economy from Tulane University.
