(Reuters) – British government outsourcing firm Tribal has received an offer for its education business and has also been approached by private equity firms interested in its healthcare arm, the Sunday Times reported.
Software and IT services firm Civica, which is owned by private equity firm 3i , has made an offer for Tribal’s education unit, said the newspaper, citing sources.
Tribal has received other approaches from private equity firms for its healthcare business, added the report.
Tribal was not available to comment on the report.
The company, which has suffered as a result of public spending cuts, said last year it had received approaches for its entire business. [ID:nLDE6BG09W]
