Clarabridge Names VC Exec Knoll as General Counsel

Clarabridge said on Monday that it has named Karl Knoll as general counsel. Prior to joining Clarabridge, Knoll was the head of the emerging companies/venture capital practice at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice. Clarabridge is a provider of customer experience management solutions.

Knoll will lead all of the strategic legal transactions at Clarabridge as the company continues to experience high growth and rapid global expansion.
Prior to Clarabridge, Knoll was a Partner and the head of the Emerging Companies/Venture Capital practice at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice. While there, Knoll’s team focused on the representation of a broad array of domestic and international technology companies and venture capital (VC) investors in mergers and acquisitions (M&As), VC and private equity investment transactions, restructurings, and private placements of preferred equity securities and convertible debt securities.
Knoll was previously a member of the Corporate Group at Cooley LLP where he represented complex M&A and securities issuances. He was also an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis where he focused on complex, transnational private equity investments, cross-border transactions, M&A, and public and private securities placements. Knoll graduated Cum Laude from Harvard Law School.
