Clark Winter Joins SK Capital Partners

Clark Winter has joined SK Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on the specialty chemical and healthcare sectors, as chief investment officer. He previously was with Goldman Sachs as a managing director and director of portfolio management. Before that, he was chief global investment strategist for Citigroup Global Wealth Management.

NEW YORK SK Capital Partners, LP, announced today the appointment of global investment strategist, Clark Winter, as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer.

 

Focusing on private equity investments within targeted segments of the specialty chemicals and health care sectors, SK Capital is a transformational buyout firm combining deep operational, strategic and global expertise with the ability to identify undervalued assets and drive substantial long term value creation.

 

Mr. Winter’s primary focus at SK Capital will be to identify, develop and communicate investment strategies for the firm by levering his global investment expertise and relationships with leading investors worldwide.

Prior to joining SK Capital, Clark Winter was a Managing Director and Director of Portfolio Strategy for Goldman Sachs and previously served as the Chief Global Investment Strategist for Citigroup Global Wealth Management. Mr. Winter is also the founder of Winter Capital International and Winter Enterprises and the author of The Either/Or Investor, recently published by Random House. Mr. Winter began his career at JP Morgan where he opened their first offices in Madrid and Mexico City.

 

Mr. Winter is chairman emeritus of both the Spanish Institute and the Mexican Cultural Institute. He serves on the boards of the Andrea Frank Foundation, the Committee on Photography at the Museum of Modern Art, and is a member of the Belfer Center International Council of the Kennedy School at Harvard.
