Clearview-backed Xact buys Orange Legal

Xact Data Discovery, which is backed by Clearview Capital has acquired Salt Lake City, Utah-based Orange Legal, a provider of specialized electronic discovery and outsourced managed review services. No financial terms were disclosed.

Old Greenwich, CT, January 26, 2016—Clearview Capital Fund III, LP announced today that its portfolio company, Xact Data Discovery (“Xact”), has acquired The Litigation Document Group, LLC d.b.a. Orange Legal Technologies and its affiliate, Orange Document Services, LLC (collectively “Orange Legal”).

Orange Legal is a rapidly growing provider of specialized electronic discovery (“eDiscovery”) and outsourced managed review services, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Founded in 1995, Orange Legal has expertise supporting clients in a variety of industries, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical industry.
