Clearview Capital Fund II, L.P. has acquired New Orleans-based consulting services firm GCR Inc. Terms of the deal, which closed December 31, were not released.
Clearview Capital Fund II, LP today announced that it has acquired GCR, Inc. in partnership with its management team.
Headquartered in New Orleans, LA, GCR offers a broad range of consulting services that help clients gather, analyze and apply information, from custom developed software solutions to information management and other professional services. GCR’s client base extends from the aviation sector to a broad array of public sector clients at the federal, state and local level, as well as law firms, utilities and other commercial clients. The transaction closed on December 31, 2011.
GCR is the fourth platform investment Clearview has established in the past twelve months.
The transaction allowed GCR’s founders to retain a substantial ownership stake, while providing other key managers with the opportunity to become meaningful direct equity owners as well.
“I am extremely enthusiastic about our partnership with Clearview Capital, as is our entire team,” said Gregory C. Rigamer, GCR’s Chief Executive Officer. “I believe Clearview’s perspective and capital will allow us to leverage our innate strengths to build a stronger business focused on serving our clients, employees and community in a more positive and beneficial way.”
“GCR offers an exceptional value proposition to its clients,” said James G. Andersen, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Clearview Capital. “We are excited about partnering with GCR’s management team to build upon the success they have achieved and to help them grow the business organically and via acquisition.”
