Commerce Street Income Partners has closed its second credit fund with $125 million in capital commitments. It will focus on acquiring senior pieces of securitized bank holding company debt.
A final closing on the Commerce Street Income Partners II, LP & Ltd. fund (CSIP II, “the Fund”) was completed on July 30, 2010, bringing its total to approximately $125 million. This announcement was made today by Dory A. Wiley, President and CEO of both Commerce Street Investment Advisor LLC, a federally registered investment advisor, and affiliated firm Commerce Street Capital LLC.
An opportunity-driven credit fund, CSIP II seeks to obtain returns in excess of those available through traditional investments by investing primarily in the senior pieces of securitized bank holding company debt. CSIP II strives to invest a majority of the funds in the highest rated and best quality credits.
