Investment firm Commonfund has named Ellen Blix as a managing director on its sales team. Previously, Blix worked at BlackRock where she served as a vice president in the global client group.
WILTON, CT, October 15, 2015 – Commonfund, a prominent investment manager for institutional investors, today announced Ellen Blix has joined its sales team as a Managing Director. Based in San Francisco, Ms. Blix will focus her efforts in the Western region, building relationships with mission-based nonprofit institutions, pension plans and family offices.

Prior to joining Commonfund, Ms. Blix was a Vice President in the Global Client Group at BlackRock, where she was responsible for U.S. institutional business development in the western region. Before BlackRock, Ms. Blix also held positions with Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan Securities.
