CVC hires TMT banker from Deutsche Bank

CVC Capital Partners hired Chris Colpitts as a senior managing director and head of telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) in the U.S.

Colpitts joined CVC after a decade at Deutsche Bank, where he most recently was global co-head of TMT investment banking. Last year, he advised Avago Technologies on its $37 billion acquisition of Broadcom Corp, the largest strategic transaction in the technology sector since 2000.

Prior to Deutsche Bank, Colpitts was a managing director and global head of electronics investment banking at Lehman Brothers.

Colpitts joins CVC’s office in San Francisco.
