CVC Capital Partners is holding talks with rival buyout firms to sell UK appliance insurer Domestic & General Ltd, while also exploring a public listing of the business, Sky News reported. Apax Partners, Centerbridge and Warburg Pincus are among several PE firms that has been negotiating with CVC, the story said. D&G could sell for $1.59 billion, Sky said.
