Cybersecurity M&A banker Don More joins JMP as managing director

Alternative asset management firm JMP Group LLC announced the hiring of Don More as a managing director in the investment banking division of JMP Securities. More, formerly a managing director at Signal Hill, will focus on the cybersecurity sector from the firm’s New York office.

Based in the firm’s New York office, Mr. More will lead JMP Securities’ investment banking efforts in the cyber security sector.

Prior to joining JMP Securities, Mr. More was a managing director at advisory boutique Signal Hill, where he led the cyber security mergers and acquisitions and private financing practice. Mr. More was previously a managing director at Updata Capital concentrating on cyber security and Internet commerce. He began his Wall Street career at Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. More holds a JD from Columbia University School of Law and a BA from Yale University.
