Delta Rigging Adds On

Delta Rigging & Tools, a Lake Jackson, Texas-based provider of lifting products and services for the domestic lifting equipment and rigging industry, has acquired D&M Wire Rope, a provider of wire rope and rigging throughout Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. No financial terms were disclosed. Delta Rigging was acquired last summer by Austin Ventures.

Delta Rigging & Tools (Delta Rigging), the nation’s leading provider of wire rope, rigging and lifting equipment, today announced the acquisition of D&M Wire Rope.  The acquisition of D&M establishes Delta Rigging as a leading provider of wire rope and rigging throughout Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming.  The acquisition is the seventh in the last three years by Delta Rigging.

D&M Wire Rope is based in Grand Junction, Colorado, and specializes in the fabrication and distribution of chain, wire rope, wire rope slings, synthetic slings, and rigging hardware.  D&M is one of the largest tire chains distributors in the Rocky Mountain area.  D&M also has testing and certification capabilities for various types of rigging and lifting products.  D&M is the leading rigging operation in the Rocky Mountain region focused primarily on the mining and land-based oil and gas drilling industries.  D&M employs 35 full-time employees and all are expected to remain with the company.
