DeviceVM, a San Jose, Calif.-based developer of rapid-start computing technologies, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. DFJ Dragon led the deal, and was joined by Sumitomo's venture arm (Presidio), HTC Founders Cher Wang and Chen Wen Chi and WR Hembrecht Ventures.
The company had raised a $10.5 million Series A round just two months ago, from Storm Ventures, DFJ Dragon, ASUS, iDInnovations (Acer), Harbinger (Mitac-Synnex) and individual angels. www.devicevm.com
