Dominus Capital invests in League Collegiate Outfitters

Dominus Capital has made an undisclosed investment in League Collegiate Outfitters. Based in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania, League is a maker of collegiate-licensed clothing for the college market.


Bridgeport, PA. Founded in 1991, League Collegiate Outfitters, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of branded collegiate-licensed apparel to the college market. The company provides a full apparel offering which includes high quality t-shirts, fleece, and bottoms, as well as adjacent product categories such as spirit blankets and pillows. League has longstanding licensing arrangements with a majority of the largest four year collegiate institutions, and deep relationships with large and independent bookstores nationally.

As a member of the Fair Labor Association for over 15 years, League is one of the most socially responsible providers of apparel with a deep commitment to employing ethical practices. League makes its own goods in its world class manufacturing facilities in Bridgeport, PA and El Salvador. In conjunction with the closing of the transaction, League is pleased to announce the addition of two new senior executives, Pete Waldron (Chief Operations Officer) and John Donaldson (Chief Financial Officer). Mr. Waldron joins League from Vantage Apparel and has 20+ years of experience in the collegiate and corporate branded apparel market and Mr. Donaldson has held CFO and leadership positions at several private equity backed companies. Both Mr. Waldron and Mr. Donaldson will be instrumental in assisting the existing League management team with continuing to expand the business and improving operations, while maintaining the company’s core principles surrounding socially responsible manufacturing.
