Montreal-based Dorel Industries has agreed in principle to be taken private by a consortium led by Cerberus Capital Management and family shareholders, reported Reuters.

Montreal-based Dorel Industries has agreed in principle to be taken private by a consortium led by Cerberus Capital Management and family shareholders, reported Reuters. The group has proposed to acquire all shares not currently held by family shareholders for C$14.50 per share, or about C$470 million (US$354.3 million). Dorel, a maker of juvenile products, bicycles and home products, has granted the consortium exclusivity through November 10 to enter into a definitive agreement.
