DS Waters of America, an Atlanta-based provider of home and office bottled water delivery, has acquired the The Standard Companies of New Orleans for an undisclosed amount. The Standard Companies manages a nationwide distribution network that provides brewed coffee, teas, condiments, break room supplies and more to offices and food service organizations.
DS Waters of America, Inc., one of the country’s largest providers of bottled water products with a growing presence in office coffee services and water filtration, today announced the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of The Standard Companies, Inc. The Standard Companies operates three business units: Standard Coffee Service®, StandGuard Quality Water Assurance® and Relyant Coffee Equipment Services(TM) through which they provide nationwide distribution of brewed coffee and tea beverages, breakroom supplies, equipment and services and water filtration systems to offices, restaurants and food service organizations throughout the United States.
As the significant resources of these two companies are combined, DS Waters will assume management of the Standard Coffee business. This addition will enable DS Waters to enhance its service offerings throughout the country.
