Duff & Phelps’ Pagemill adds new MD to team

Duff & Phelps‘ Pagemill Partners has appointed Rory O’Sullivan as a managing director and its first head of European technology M&A. Sullivan, who will be based in London, previously worked at Bulger Partners.

LONDON, 12 September 2016 – Pagemill Partners, a division of Duff & Phelps, is pleased to welcome Rory O’Sullivan as a Managing Director to the firm, and its first Head of European Technology M&A, based in London. His appointment marks a significant step in expanding Pagemill’s worldwide offering, and the further strengthening of M&A capabilities within Duff & Phelps and Pagemill in the UK and Europe. Since its inception in 2005, technology-focused Pagemill has completed more than 250 M&A transactions in the software, hardware, Internet and media, and communications sectors.

Rory himself has 20 years’ experience in the investment banking industry, having completed over 50 transactions with a combined value in excess of $5 billion. Prior to joining Pagemill, he spent a number of years with U.S. firm Bulger Partners, where he established the firm’s European investment banking arm. Between 2007 and 2012, he served as Head of European M&A at Canaccord Genuity, and previously he spent six years at Robertson Stephens. Rory has originated and successfully completed a broad range of public and private transactions with strategic and private equity counterparties including Adobe, Cisco, General Atlantic, Getty Images, Intel, Konica Minolta, Mentor Graphics, Schneider Electric, SDL and Vector Capital.
