The board of Toronto-based software company Dye & Durham has turned down a $2.8 billion offer made by a management group and intends to remain listed, Bloomberg reported. One large shareholder, Mawer Investment Management, immediately expressed its opposition to the go-private transaction. Dye & Durham, which provides software for legal and business professionals, went public last year.
