(Reuters) – Egyptian private equity firm Citadel Capital (CCAP.CA) will resume full operations in Egypt on Sunday, the firm said in a statement on Thursday.

It said its operations in other countries had been operating as usual but added that unrest in Egypt may have a short-term impact on its investment and divestiture plans.

“In the long term, however, Citadel Capital believes that this difficult period will result in a more stable and faster-growing Egypt and region.”
