Elevation Buys Into MarketShare Partners

Elevation Partners has acquired a minority stake in MarketShare Partners, a Los Angeles-based marketing analytics firm. No financial terms were disclosed. Ted Meisel, a senior advisor to Elevation and former head of search marketing at Yahoo, will join the MarketShare board of directors.

MarketShare Partners (MSP), the industry’s leading marketing analytics firm, today announced that private equity firm Elevation Partners has made a minority equity investment in the Company. The terms of the investment were not disclosed.

Concurrent with the investment, Mr. Meisel will join MSP’s Board of Directors. Montgomery & Co. served as an advisor to MarketShare Partners on the transaction.
