Ellen Gonda Joins Carlyle

Ellen Gonda has agreed to join The Carlyle Group as director of communications for the Americas, effective December 3. She previously was with PR firm Brunswick Group, where she focused on corporate and financial communications. Get more info.

Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group today named Ellen D. Gonda Director of Communications for the Americas. Based in New York,
Ms. Gonda will be responsible for firm-wide communications initiatives in North and South America. She will report to Director of Global Communications Chris Ullman and begin her duties on December 3, 2007.


Ms. Gonda joins Carlyle from Brunswick Group, the international communications consultancy, where she was a Director focused on corporate and financial communications. She provided counsel to international companies experiencing crisis situations, particularly transactions and restructurings across a variety of sectors. Prior to joining Brunswick in 2000, Ms. Gonda held positions at Gavin Anderson & Company and Abernathy MacGregor Frank.
