Empire Investment Holdings Promotes a Handful

Empire Investment Holdings’ Gene Bardakjy, Chris Cummings, Michael Greif and Paul Miller are all taking on managing director roles with the firm. Bardakjy was formerly COO and will lead due diligence on new deals; Cummings, former CTO, will also remain a member of the firm’s oversight and investment committee. Greif, former legal chief, will continue to work on new acquisitions’ transition into the Empire portfolio and Miller, former senior VP of M&A, will continue working on business development and investment decisions.

Miami, Florida (Business Wire) Empire Investment Holdings announced the promotions and expanded roles for its senior executive team, which comes with the title of managing director. This change is reflective of the firm’s growth to date and the formal commencement of strategic plans focused on expanding its position in the private equity fund arena.

The senior executives appointed managing director are:

Mr. Gene N. Bardakjy – Previously chief operating officer, will continue to focus his efforts on leading the due diligence efforts of new investments, as well as the transitions of newly acquired companies. Mr. Bardakjy is a member of the firms oversight committee and investment committee.

Mr. Chris A. Cummings – Previously chief technology officer, will continue to focus his efforts on leading the due diligence efforts of new investments, as well as the transitions of newly acquired companies. Mr. Cummings is a member of the firms oversight committee and investment committee.

Mr. Michael T. Greif – Previously chief legal officer, will continue to support the due diligence efforts of new investments, lead all legal matters of the firm and support the transitions of newly acquired companies. Mr. Greif is a member of the firms oversight committee and investment committee.

Mr. Paul H. Miller – Previously senior vice president, mergers & acquisitions, will continue to lead the efforts related to business development and investment activity. Mr. Miller is a member of the firms investment committee.
