Investment bank Evercore has hired Randy Crath as a senior managing director in its oil and gas group. Previously, Crath worked at Scotia Waterous where he served as a managing director. He will be based in the firm’s Houston office.
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Evercore (NYSE:EVR) announced today that Randy Crath has joined the Firm’s Investment Banking business as a Senior Managing Director in its Oil and Gas Group. Mr. Crath will focus on the acquisition and divestiture advisory business, in particular on providing advice to oil and gas companies regarding the acquisition or sale of international exploration and production assets. He will be based in Evercore’s office in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Crath most recently was a Managing Director for Scotia Waterous, focusing on international oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures, where in the past 4 years he has advised on over $20 billion of transactions for companies including Chevron, Ecopetrol, KNOC, Petrobras and Sinopec. He has worked in a variety of international corporate finance positions at Scotiabank since 1984, with the past 10 years focused on international A&D.
