Evercore has hired Tom Stokes as a senior managing director for its technology banking group. Previously, Stokes worked at Goldman Sachs where he served as a managing director in its investment banking division.
NEW YORK, May 26, 2015 – Evercore (NYSE: EVR) announced today that Tom Stokes has joined the Firm’s Investment Banking business as a Senior Managing Director in its Technology Banking Group. Mr. Stokes is based in New York and will focus on advising clients across the technology sector.
Mr. Stokes was most recently a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. With over 16 years of experience and over 13 years at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Stokes has extensive experience advising companies across the technology industry. In particular, he has advised on a number of the most notable recent transactions across the semiconductor, electronics and industrial tech subsectors.

Mr. Stokes received his BA, MA and MEng degrees in Engineering from Cambridge University and received his MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management.
