First Reserve promotes four

First Reserve, an energy-focused private equity firm, has made four executive promotions.

First Reserve, an energy-focused private equity firm, has made four executive promotions: William Brown and Michael Scardigli have become managing directors, Thomas Amburgey is now a director and Patrick McEnery has become a vice president of credit and capital markets. These appointments became effective January 1, 2020.

Prior to joining First Reserve, Brown worked at Banc of America Securities LLC’s investment banking division. He first joined First Reserve in 2006.

Before joining First Reserve, Scardigli worked in Citigroup’s M&A group in the investment banking division. He joined First Reserve in 2008.

Prior to joining First Reserve, Amburgey worked at UBS Investment Bank where he was an analyst in the financial sponsors and leveraged finance division. He came on board at First Reserve in 2012.

And, McEnery was an associate at Sound Harbor Partners prior to working at First Reserve. He joined First Reserve in 2017.

According to First Reserve, it has raised about $32 billion of aggregate capital since inception.
