Frog Capital promotes Krancki to partner

Frog Capital has promoted Joe Krancki from principal to partner. Before joining Frog Capital, Krancki worked at Jefferies in London.

Frog Capital, a leading growth capital investor, announced today that Joe Krancki has been promoted from principal to partner.

“Joe has been an invaluable member of our team since we launched Frog in 2009, and many of his contributions have helped our portfolio companies consistently grow revenue by over 40% per year,” said managing partner Mike Reid. “We are thrilled to see Joe expand his role as a partner and take a leadership role in our goal of making 12 to 15 new investments over the next four years.”

Mr. Krancki brings 15 years of experience helping businesses exploit technology innovations to deliver ambitious financial growth. He was a part of the team that invested in GB Group in 2009, which Frog exited in 2013 for a 3.5x return. He has sourced and been involved with several other Frog investments. Mr. Krancki is a board member of EDITD and Mediatonic, as well as a board observer at OrderDynamics, Rockabox, and Rated People. He also leads Frog Capital’s collaboration with London Business School to produce the TELL Series (www.tellseries.com).

Prior to joining Frog Capital, Mr. Krancki worked at Jefferies in the Technology Investment Banking group in London. He began his career with Ernst & Young as a management consultant in Chicago. Mr. Krancki holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc and MSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
