Frontier Networks Inc., a data and networking programs company based in Toronto, has acquired 10.4% of the common shares of Radiant Communications Corp., a Vancouver-based provider of managed network and cloud hosting solutions. Frontier made the buy in connection with its previously-announced takeover offer, which countered a bid made by private equity investors Maxam Capital Corp. and PenderFund Capital Management.

TORONTO, May 9, 2013 /CNW/ – Frontier Networks Inc., (Frontier) a leading Canadian provider of network communication solutions, announced today that it has acquired 1,576,600 common shares in Radiant Communications Inc. (the “Company”). The shares held represent approximately 10.42% of the common shares currently outstanding. These shares are held in 2104587 Ontario Inc.
According to Luigi Calabrese, President of Frontier, these shares have been acquired to support our previously announced transaction regarding Radiant Communications Inc. And we reserve the right to increase or decrease our holdings at any time.
