Fuloria joins Fundbox

Prashant Fuloria has joined Fundbox as Chief Product Officer while Oren Katz was named Vice President of R&D and Michal Cieplinski was appointed General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. Johnson Ma has also joined Fundbox as Vice President of Business Development. Fuloria was previously SVP of Advertising Products at Yahoo. Katz was with eXelate where he was VP R&D and General Manager, while Cieplinksi was previously MD and Senior Counsel at The Bank of New York Mellon and Ma was with Trial Pay.

(June 28, 2016) – Fundbox, the leading platform for small and medium-sized businesses to manage and optimize cash flow, announced today the addition of four new key leaders: Prashant Fuloria, previously of Google, Facebook, Flurry and Yahoo has joined Fundbox as Chief Product Officer; Oren Katz has been appointed Vice President of R&D; Michal Cieplinski has been named General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer; Johnson Ma has joined as Vice President of Business Development. Collectively, the four executives bring decades of technology management experience to Fundbox and strengthen the company’s senior leadership team to support its rapid growth.

Fuloria is a seasoned technology veteran who most recently was SVP of Advertising Products at Yahoo, managing the engineering and product teams driving Yahoo’s advertising business. Fuloria joined Yahoo through the acquisition of Flurry, the world’s leading mobile app analytics platform. Prior to Flurry, Fuloria was Senior Director of Product Management at Facebook, responsible for Facebook’s commerce and advertising products. Before joining Facebook, he served as Product Director at Google, managing Google’s products for the Asia-Pacific region as well as building monetization products, both as an early product manager on Google AdWords and as the Product Director for Google’s global billing & payments platform. At Fundbox, Fuloria will lead the company’s product and engineering efforts, including product strategy, design and delivery, as well as provide executive leadership within the growing company.

Cieplinski has more than 12 years of global financial services experience, most recently as Managing Director and Senior Counsel at The Bank of New York Mellon. Ma brings over a decade of business development and strategy experience, including Trial Pay (acquired by Visa March 2015) where he helped secure major deals with Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
