Gaia Power Technologies Inc., a New York-based provider of turnkey distributed electrical storage and power systems, has secured $2.9 million of a $4 million Series B round, according to VentureWire. Participants include GHO Ventures, Empire State Venture Group, NJTC Venture Fund and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
