GE Antares Capital names Kinlough as MD in Toronto office

GE Antares Capital, a unit of GE Capital, said Tuesday that it has hired Richard Kinlough as a managing director in its Toronto office. Previously, Kinlough founded and led CIT’s Canadian sponsor coverage team. GE Antares Capital is a middle-market lender to private equity-backed companies.

Kinlough brings more than 20 years of financing experience to a team delivering comprehensive lending solutions to middle market, private equity-backed companies in Canada.

Kinlough joins GE Antares after founding and leading CIT’s Canadian sponsor coverage team. Previously, Richard was co-president of CCFL Mezzanine Partners, where he invested $370MM of subordinated debt in 25 Canadian middle market companies. Prior to CCFL, Richard held leadership roles with American Express Bank, Macquarie Bank, NZI Securities Australia and Manufacturers Hanover. Richard received his bachelor of commerce degree from Loyola of Montreal (now Concordia University).
