Gemspring Capital names new VP

Gemspring Capital has hired Bennet Grill as a vice president. Previously, Grill worked at Ipreo where he served as a director in business development and strategy.

WESTPORT, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Gemspring Capital, LLC, a private equity firm specializing in lower middle market companies, announced that Bennet Grill has joined the team as a Vice President.

Mr. Grill brings with him middle market investing and operating experience. Prior to joining Gemspring, Mr. Grill was a Director in Business Development and Strategy at Ipreo, a leading provider of market intelligence, data, and technology solutions to financial institutions and a portfolio company of Blackstone and Goldman Sachs. Prior to Ipreo, Mr. Grill was a Senior Associate at Blue Wolf Capital, a middle market special situations private equity firm where he was involved in all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing and execution of post-closing strategies. Mr. Grill began his career in Mergers & Acquisitions at Citigroup and received a B.S. from Duke University.
