GIC in talks to buy Mergermarket stake: Financial Times

GIC is in talks to buy a large stake in Mergermarket, according to the Financial Times. BC Partners is in advanced discussions with GIC to sell a more than 30 percent stake in the data company, the story said. The transaction could value Mergermarket at over 1 billion pounds ($1.3 billion), the FT said. BC Partners acquired Mergermarket in 2014 from the FT for 382 million pounds, the story said.
