Dirk Boogmans, president and CEO of Belgian investment company GIMV NV is resigning for personal reasons as of 1 July 2008, the company said.
In a statement, GIMV said the board of directors expressed its great appreciation for the work Boogmans has delivered since 2001.
Chairman of the board Herman Daems said: “Dirk has made an important contribution to the development of GIMV into a leading investment company.”
If the functions and the responsibilities of the President-CEO cannot be transferred to a successor by 1 July 2008, chairman Daems will temporarily take on these responsibilities, the group added.
